Remember the Rocket Lamp? We have three. Our retro lamps are perfect for mood lighting, creating warm ambiance if you have romance on your mind. What about Onkaparinga Woollen Mill blankets - we all grew up with at least one Onka blanket in our lives.
1965's extensive record collection, featuring artists from the 1960's will keep those with the a love of vinyl happy. Perhaps you'd like to make your own music with the house guitar?
It may be the retro crockery, the funky copper artworks or the dancing cranes but something will speak to you. Just being in the 1965 house is a joy filled trip down memory lane.
Comfort
Although they are no longer made in Lobethal, our bedrooms feature Onkaparinga Wool Quilts. Electric blankets & comfy pillow top beds ensure a good night's sleep. Our linens are hotel quality too.
Our sleek contemporary bathroom will delight you with a luxurious rain head shower and is stocked with Wallawa Botanical Indigenous Skincare Products, fresh bathrobes and fluffy white towels.
In our kitchen full of sunshine you'll find fully equipped cupboards with everything you need to cook and serve something delicious for a 'big night in' or a lazy, lux breakfast.
In the evening, you can relax in our comfy retro lounge. Watch a classic movie, play a game of chess or snuggle on the sofa with a cup of mulled wine. Ahhhhhh!
Location
Centrally located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, 1965 is an ideal location from which to explore. You'll find agrarian landscapes, hilltop views and secret gullies. If you would rather explore on foot, step out of the front door and wander the main street of Lobethal. Our little town offers more great wining and dining options; shopping experiences and country hospitality.
The neighbouring region of Eden Valley is a picturesque drive away where you can experience red gum territory or continue on the backroads to the Barossa just an hour away.

Two (2) Night minimum stay. The house accommodates 4 GUESTS ONLY.
There are two King size beds however the second bedroom can be set up as two long singles. An additional fee applies for use of the second bedroom when booking for 2 guests.
Unfortunately the house is not suitable for children under 12 years.
